What products does The Life Cycle Design offer?

I design and print a range of eco-friendly products, including wrapping paper, gift tags, greeting cards. I offer notebooks, writing materials and accessories from other producers which are also focused on sustainability and complement my own products. My designs are contemporary and sustainable two values of equal importance and aimed at elevating your gift-giving experience.

Are your products environmentally friendly?

Yes, sustainability is very important to me and all my products are designed with this in mind. The wrapping paper, greeting cards, and gift tags are:

• Uncoated paper.
• Produced in the UK.
• 100% recyclable (the earlier greeting cards & gift tags did not comply with this. They are no longer printed and being phased out.
• FSC certified.
• Chlorine-free.
• By post: !00% recycled materials for packaging. Acid-free tissue paper to protect your purchases also 100% recyclable.
• In-store: 100% compostable sachets used to protect greeting cards. (Earlier use of cellophane being phased out.) Recyclable paper sachets used for gift tags.

What are the specifications of your wrapping paper?

• The wrapping sheets are 700mm x 500mm.
• Paper is a robust 100gsm, providing crisp creases and an elegant finish.
• Uncoated finish to the wrapping paper means you can write/draw on it.
• The paper is recyclable. Use with the cellulose Sellotape (sold on the website) or any other paper/cellulose tape to ensure your used wrapping paper remains recyclable.

Can you tell me more about your greeting cards?

The greeting cards are designed for various occasions, featuring vibrant, contemporary artwork. 

• The cards come in two sizes
  • 14cm x 14cm (non-recyclable and being phased out)
  • 4.8cm x 14.8cm (recyclable).
• Printed on high-quality 400gsm paper
• Hand-embossed white envelope.
• The cards are blank inside, allowing for personalised messages and include a small design detail from the front on the interior.
• Wrapped in acid-free and recyclable tissue paper when sent by post.
• In stores, cards are protected in compostable sachets. (Earlier cards were in cellophane and being phased out.)

What about your gift tags?

The gift tags are designed to complement or contrast with the wrapping papers, adding the perfect finishing touch to your presents.

• The gift tags come in two sizes 
  • Round, 65mm x 65mm (non-recyclable and being phased out)
  • Square, 55mm x 55mm (recyclable).
• Printed on high-quality 400gsm paper.
• Each set contains four tags, ensuring you have enough for multiple gifts.
• By post & in-store: protected in recyclable paper sachets.

Do you offer free shipping?

Free UK shipping is offered on orders over £30. The discount is automatically applied at checkout.

Do you deliver to countries outside the UK? 

Delivery is possible to the following European countries. Shipping costs and delivery times will be calculated at checkout based on your location.
